just came across a pair of cuffs by hiatt.
they are a screw down key type and have no4 stamped on them.
i dont collect cuffs, and was trying to find out whether to dump them or find out about them.
i didnt know there was collectors out there.

They're worth something. They are potentially nice cuffs. Can you post pix, here.

Do a search on completed items on eBay, but be sure you're looking at comparable cuffs. There is a ton of cheap Indian imports fobbed off as antiques. If you compare their photos to your Hiatts, the differences are pretty obvious, but we han help point them out.

There's someone out there, who collects everything.

hi! took some photo's, but could'nt get them to attatch with photo bucket.
i must be doing something wrong.
they came out of an old estate house that i was emptying. they were in the attic in an old box.
i got the photo's onto photo bucket, but cant get them onto this message, is there something i am doing wrong.

This is a perfect example of why the website should have a tutorial link on how to use
the photo service.

It could be placed on the Forum main page with a caption like,

"Use photobucket to upload pictures and show us your handcuffs"

Use the tutorial to show you how ...

look at the links under each photo.

Left click the direct link and it should say "copied"

You can then "paste" the link or links into this thread as a new message
and use "preview" to see if they post before clicking "respond"

Looks like you have a nice set of Hiatt handcuffs. Definitely not junk..

The key looks to be of first quality and is well marked.

I would leave them "as is", and not try to clean or polish them.

Just my opinion of course, they are yours to do as you wish.
