East Indian in origin.

The dead giveaway is the threaded bolt bent into a chain link.

Unlike the modern made crap Indian shackles flooding the market that are artificially aged to look old this set does have some age to them and I would hazard a guess they are at least 40 or 50 years old.

As for value, I would think in the $50 - $85.00 range.

After looking more closely at the pics I think these may be even older than 50 years.

Perhaps 70 years tops.

The one link made out of a bolt may be a replacement link added later or actually forged in when the entire shackle was made.

With a lot of cruder Indian shackles they used whatever materials they had on hand at the time because the cost of raw iron was greater than using recycled materials.

i.e. Bolts, threaded rods, corkscrews to make threads, etc.
