Weight of BEAN patrolman and prison handcuffs

Can anyone tell me the weight of a pair of BEAN patrolman or prison handcuffs? I know the prison is 4oz heavier than the patrolman but I would like to know what the weight is on either one for future comparison. If not how can you tell the difference between the two?

This question has been up on this Forum a couple of years before.
Even though the Bean handcuffs (including Iver Johnson and Lovell handcuffs) were kind of mass produced
it seems like the weights differ from specimen to specimen. The Bean cuffs were manufactured in three
models; Detective, Patrolman and Prison. To make it a little more complicated, each model also came
in different variations. For instance; the Bean Prison cuff came with both standard and heavy hinge and standard and heavy

Can anyone tell me the weight of a pair of BEAN patrolman or prison handcuffs? I know the prison is 4oz heavier than the patrolman but I would like to know what the weight is on either one for future comparison. If not how can you tell the difference between the two?

Thanks a ton for the info on the BEAN handcuffs. I was able to get my hands on a very nice pair but seeing I am obviously a much smaller collector than yourself I needed to identify the difference. I understand you comment about each set being a little different. Mine weighed in at 427g putting them shy of the weights for the Prison but over for the Patrolman. Seeing they are closest to the prison that is how I will title them.
