Are you kidding me?? A security shlub maybe but a detective?? All the detectives I know only carry NIJ certified cuffs not junk like that! Don't tell people that a detective would carry these junk cuffs.

Most detectives have no clue what kind of cuffs they carry. If you haven't used these cuffs I wouldn't knock them. But thanks for your opinion!

The 2222s seem strong enough. I'm told they failed NIJ by a whisker.

My complaint is that they are thinner than most standard cuffs. I believe that makes them slightly more prone to cause injury. The thinner center plate may cause problems with some standard handcuff keys. I have some keys that don't work in them. Others have reported no problems, so it may be specific to some not-so-standard keys. The flag on my 2222 keys is a tiny bit narrower than that on my S&Ws.
