The ban on Nazi stuff has been there for a long time. They say it is in response to the laws in Europe, where that stuff is severely controlled. I think their loopy liberalism has as much to do with it. Their ban on firearms RELATED stuff is a real PITA. You can’t sell a holster, ferchrissakes! Is there a new ban on slave stuff? There seems to be the usual run of Genuine Indian Fake Slave Shackles on sale.

EBay has become a particular PITA for sellers. Their new Feedback sanctions make it very easy for a small seller to be suspended for a single –FB. DSR stars make it easy to get hit if some moron thinks your free shipping is too expensive, or reads eBay's directions that call four stars good, while eBay suspends you for a 4.3 rating. The inability of sellers to post –FB has destroyed the value of feedback altogether, and made the place more susceptible to buyer blackmail and fraud.

I don't mind PayPal in general, but they now sometimes hold sellers' fees for 21 days, while still insisting you ship. I don't expect to see buyer's fees from PayPal. They'll raise seller fees if necessary. That makes it invisible to buyers.

They have made eBay a risky place for sellers to do business. I backed off from my sales, for personal logistic reasons (a fancy way of saying “too busy”) last year, and am reluctant to start up again. Why risk wasting all the time to post a bunch of stuff, only to have some numpty get you suspended. I may miss the Christmas season.

EBay has really screwed up their operation, IMnsHO.

Paypal can't charge fees to buyers, at last in France. The rules concerning the payments with credit cards strictly forbid any additional fees, for the act to pay itself. Only the tag's price (but fees can be integrated in these ...).

eBay evolve bad, yes. But what others solutions could I find ? Handcuffs don't have the efficient networks available for stamps or fossils. Not the same market too.
