Last week I bough a pair of Alcyon 15900 handcuffs to a man here in Spain, and what my surprise now when I was cleaning them that they where the oficial ones used by the Guardia Civil (here in Spain whe have two types of State Police, the Policia Nacional and the Guardia Civil).
Well, they have got the coat of arms, a date 1-1-85 and also the Slcyon symbol is differen (with a kind of goose flying in the middle os the word Alcyon)
When I have time, I´ll make some pictures and show them.
Also, last month I went to visit ths Policia Nacional Academy, and they have got a museum there, and they had the model of 15900 used by them, qith their coat of arms also (diferent frm the one of the Guardia Civil, of course)
Are these kind of handcuffs rare? Are they a good collection item? Do they get more expensive if they are from the police?
