#4Click to expand...These are in the Alex Nichols collection and were made by He-Who-Makes-Things in Australia - well done Ian, they're a great piece of fun kit. Fully working, with functioning locks - in this pick they're shown properly applied with the keyholes facing away from my hands.

#6Click to expand...could this be the reason for the long delay in getting the folding/rigid cuff ready?,or will would be batmen, (and women) be waiting for a year or three for these?......at least they have recognised their true market, kids toys!, all the ASP products are just right for toys r us.

#7Click to expand...I've had a dozen pair on backorder since this Summer. I'm waiting with baited breath.
They're licensed goods, and I expect them to be outrageously expensive, but they should be unique. I'm not expecting much in terms of our kind of quality.
Originally, they were supposed to be released in January, but I'm not expecting them before March, now.
I'll post a review as soon as I have them in my hot little hands.

Watch the movie "Batman Forever" (the one with Val Kilmer as Batman). In the very beginning of that movie you get a glimps of two pairs of Batcuffs, both were high polished chrome not matte black.

Yes, the pic is of me, and yes I'm wearing a pair of Batcuffs made by Ian in Oz and yes they are in the collection of my great buddy Alex Nichols.

I recently picked up what appears to be a prototype of the Batman handcuffs?

It was not clear when I purchased them but the recent pictures on this post makes it clear that these are somehow related.
Is there anyone who collects this sort of item or is someone interested in making a trade for it? I mainly collect older handcuffs.
I will try to get better pictures posted later in the week if interested. Photos in the link above.

#17Click to expand...Hi lockcollector, the cuff appear to be the same as a gentleman made several years back. I will try to check what files I have saved on this. He told me he made a limited editon of 10 handcuffs based on the movie design. He was selling them for about $500.00
I was impressed by his work but thought they were expensive at that price so I made my own version.
