Figure 8 Plug Handcuffs

I have a few pairs of the figure 8 plug cuffs but i cant figure out the maker of these 2 pairs.most of mine say hiatt,froggatt,dowler,field & parker and griffin.these have no names they both have keys and work but one has a litle notch in it (next to the screw) like a gide and has hard and the number 9-6 in it also it is 3/4 inches thick.the second is 1/2 thick and has no numbers or markings let me know if you can help me

The only hope is direct comparison with a marked pair. Unfortunately the variation within a company are as great as the variations between companies, so I do not think there is any way to identify your unknowns.

Thanks i guess from looking at some of your pictures the one with a small guide or notch is the same as your froggatt that you have up and the same as my other 2 froggatts The other is close to my griffin,with the odd shape screw so maybe i will just list them as griffin.thanks

I have two that are a near match for yours (a standard and a lightweight). They are marked Froggatt.
