Have to agree with all the previous replies, they are modern Indian made screw key LI many of which were offered on ebay about 6 -8 years ago. See page 203 of Alex's or is it Alexs' book (never was very good at English).
As he says the links were made of old bolts or threaded bar.
All I can say is that I do have a set in my collection but the fact they have not appeared on ebay for many years think they are an interesting pattern but would still only value them at $20-

Thanks for all the help, I still may sell them on ebay in time, now at least I have an accurate description and value of them.
I did see this exact set sell on ebay a month ago for $79.99, which is why I decided to look into further, the seller did not offer much information.
