Clejuso 12 D

I have a pair of Clejuso 12D's given to me back in 1963. They had belonged to a deputy sheriff killed in the line of duty in or around San Antonio, Texas, date unknown.



I would like to know when these were made (I don't trust the Clejuso company to tell me; I earlier asked them to identify them and they came back as 11's; when I questioned their ID of them they changed their mind and said they were 12D's.) The locking mechanism is turning the key 360 degrees.



I have a picture of these. How do I attach it here?

Jack Tanis says the 12D's were made from 1946 to 1980. Can anyone tell if these are one of the older models? I received them in '63, so know they are older than that. I notice there are no 'brads' to each side of the key hole, as on some pictures of 12D's I've seen.
