Honoring Stan and an early handcuff company

I wish I was related to the Willis Tower.
I did pick up a cuff closer to my name.

Ian: I've been called all kinds of things over the years.

The story I have on the cuff is that Hugo Stanley was a clock maker about 1924. Toward the end of WWII the Finnish Army asked him to make handcuffs that they neededed very fast. About 1000 were made and sent to the military police and officers. They were made to use the same key as the Konepaja Voima.
I don't think the cuff was ever patented, and I can find very little information on Mr. Stanley or the company. I would like to hear from anyone with additional information. One side of the cuff was double locked and qwould not budge. I was able to take the lock out and repair it.

I've had a long standing police of not taking things to a show that I don't want to sell. It started when I took my Brass Adams to Indy to show to Gordon, and he went home with it. You will have to come to Cincinnati to see it.

As long as you don't mind going through the metal detectors, it is an official invite. I'm happy to have any serious collector come and visit. Same metal detectors apply.
