hi

at A collectors home when I visit him he showed me
A pair of smith & wesson rigid handcuffs
I've never seen this one before
does somebody else have A cuff like this
and if someone know one for sale I'm interested in it

I guess you're referring to the hinged Model #200?

I bought the model 200 when it was new and it was seriously flawed. It appeared that with enough torque applied to the hinge, the thin pin would break. I wound up trading them for an antique sword and am not at all surprised that they were redesigned shortly thereafter.

patrick is correct - they are S&W, but not model 200, they're 100's that have been made into rigid cuffs by adding a plastic grip. An interesting device, but it is not a Smith & Wesson add-on, that's done by the people who market it.

no I did not mean all off these cuffs
I had this cuff in hands
it is A model 100 with A steel plate in the middle instead
of A chain or A hinge
I did A little search myself and saw that on eric's site
is the same cuff

Very interesting S&W #200 solid-body variation.

So, what's the story?

Was it a special-request custom factory model?

Or did the owner convert a model #200 himself into this solid-model?

Sorry but I have got just one model. I found it on eBay USA last year.
I have no information about this rare model. The saler told me that it was a prototype from the hinged model 200 S&W.
