#1The last two weeks have featured four really nice items.
The top cuff is the ER handcuff already discussed extensively on this forum. The ER cuffs are the oldest known American handcuffs and a prize for any collection.
In second place is another important American handcuff, a Phelps patented in 1866. The Phelps cuffs are heavy and very well made. They established the design that Tower used for the next 50 years or so.
In third place we have a "Lutz, Royce, Trenor, and Chadwick" nipper patented in 1870. As far as I know this was the most expensive nipper ever sold on eBay. It is a very fancy item with a rosewood handle.
And in fourth we have another rare item, a Moersch nipper. It is a German nipper, although it was also patented in the US.
