Nothing very spectacular this week. The top item was a nice pair of Tower cuffs in a Foth box.

I like the Foth Cuffs in the box!
Wish they were mine!

I spoke with Stan about these cuffs and got some valuable info about them. He knows of or has seen these cuffs stamped wih an "F". I do not believe I have ever seen that myself. I wonder if any other collectors have seen any genuine Foth cuffs have the "F" and if there are legitimate Foth cuffs without the "F" or other markings.
There are no markings on these cuffs whatsoever and wonder if any one here has any opinions or insight as to how Foth made and marketed his cuffs.
It was even suggested by another collector that all or most Tower cuffs without any markings are probably Foth cuffs. I am not sure if I can agree to that....so I put it out to all of you.

I have 2 pair of Towers Double Lock with the "F" on top of the lock cases. Both pair are also marked with "Towers Double lock" on one lock case, and both have the single connecting link. By the time Foth was making the cuffs, the single link model was the only one offered. Although Foth did have the patterns to make the 3 round links, and he had some of them. I have no information to prove that the F is for Foth, but I have not seen any other letters on the cuffs.
