Aluminum Martin like cuff?

My wife recently went to a gun show to look at some handcuffs for me. One pair she came across but did not buy, had me intrigued. Her best description was that it was a ridged handcuff made of aluminum, the bows were rounded like the bows on a Hamburg 8, it was ratchet in design but did not swing through, the seller thought it was German made but did not know much about it. After sitting down with her and going through Santini's Devices of Human Restraint, the gallery here and the Blacksteel website (all of which took forever) the closest she could find for a match was a Martin cuff.

My first thought was that it was a strange, ridged Deutsche Polizei but she said it was not. Are Martin's made from aluminum? I thought they were steel. I kind of wish she would have bought them, he was selling the cuff for $40.

She can't find the sellers business card any more but I guess the guy knows Anthony Martin (no relation to the company, Tony is an infamously known EA who had a TV special) and that is where she thinks the cuffs came from.

Anyone have a clue?

Yes, Martins' Cuffs are made of Aluminum... And for $40 you could have scoped them up and placed them on Ebay!

Thanks to everyone who emailed and posted on this. I'm convinced it was a Martin and a missed oppertunity. Maybe he'll have them next time around but I doubt it.
