Very interesting video

Interesting video. The cuff has been in the works for over 5 years, and can be seen on a few German handcuff seller sites, but it is not yet available. Does anyone know when, or if this cuff will be made ?

this is the never ending story again It is the Bonowi Trilock in catalogs since 2006 or ealier but until today "not available" resp. "not in stock". Here you can see the actual version - also not available:http://www.bonowi.com/de/prod/ng_HFESS_ug_SFESSEL.htm

It looks different to the cuff shown in the video, the video is a german production (Galileo of TV channel "Pro7") made in 2005. Since that time the design of the cuff has canged several times... The original video is a little bit longer, some informations about normal handcuffs have been removed. We german collectors think that these handcuffs will never be available, they are just vaporware ))

Hi,

indeed, speculations are they are waiting for a large order from some government organziation before they actually start producing. When they were first announced they were the only handcuff to meet a "new" german standard for handcuffs, but in the meantime at least the Clejuso No. 9 is available, which also was certified to meet the standard. I think this reduced the chances for the bonowi to ever get realized...

But in addition to the cuff shown in the Video there are a few prototypes they show from time to time. Here two photos of "the real thing":
