Nuremberg Trials

My father gave this to me. He said they were given to him by a friend when he became a Deputy. His friend was a guard during the Nuremberg Trials and said these were used on prisoners during the trials.

The handcuff was made by American Munitions Co Fond Du lac Wis.

I know nothing about handcuffs is it possible that this could have been used for the Nazi prisoners during the trials?

Maybe I am wrong but I thought the American Munitions Co. was located in Chicago at the time the trials took place (1945-1946).

The Nuremberg Trials were 1945-46. American Munitions started in Chicago in 1941 or 42, and moved to FondDuLac about 1962, so the handcuff in the picture could not have been used at the trials. The chain and end ring do not appear to be original to the cuff.
