I am aiming this at handcuff experts, because some performes will answer the question as a theatrical performer and I want a correct answer.
Not having owned a pair of these Gotcha Handcuffs I have no experience with them.
I am interested as their security status. Can these cuffs be by passed in any way leaving them still in working condition? I am not asking for your method only the facts concerning the security of the cuffs.

Just look at their patent drawings.

While rather impressive at first glance, the mechanism lends itself to a rapping technique not unsimilar to bumping a cheap ordinary pin and tumbler lock.

I am now looking a the drawings thanks to my friend Mario Manzini. They look very simple but drawings don't prove anything, only having the cuffs can a system be tested.
Now that the double lock seems solved, that leaves the single lock. Does anyone know if a system without deception or damage that will release that single lock? I am not asking that you tell me the method. I am simply asking if in fact there is a known way to beat it. Thank you, Norm
