odd size darbies

hello everyone, i've seen some recent posts regarding odd size darbies, i was looking through my collection and came across a pair of hiatt "superintendant" darbies, one side is about the size of a #3, (i think they come in about 5 sizes,but not sure), the other is smaller, im guessing at a size 2 maybe, ive never seen chain linked darbies made this way before, has anyone else?. i'll try and e-mail a picture to joe, so he can post it. thanks for all the great information everybody. chris.

There is a large range of sizes, but the numbers don't seem to mean much. There was likely a system at one time, but there seems to be little consistency over the years.

I would be glad to put up your picture if you email it to me. Or you can post the inside dimensions of each cuff.

These certainly look like a mistake. Two mismatched cuffs.
I have a pair of Froggatt like this, one cuff much larger than the other.
