#4The hinges are the dead giveaway. They are not forged welded shut but are simply folded over.

Another thing I noticed is that it is riveted and not sure the originals were riveted that way. I am guessing they are reproductions for museum or wax museum. The color of the rust is making me wonder too as it is showing too much orange color.
The hand-part looks strange to me. There is quite a large gap on the bottom, so that you might be able to slip out.
