very interesting, and not the first people to use a like idea. I think they chose the hex as it was easy and simple to make. I know Mattatuck made leg irons and I think handcuffs using a tri-lobe post and socket like key to match.

Very unusual piece. I've never seen one. GOTCHA also had a 6 sided key and a triangular key. (LaPegy is spelled with one g.)

@ Stan I found 9 pics of la pegy that was not the problem

but did not found any simulair to the cuff I have
I have now 5 different la pegy cuffs but no one with A hex
in the key

so my question is this cuff I have special or are there more collectors with the same cuff

also on the webside of Petchi did not found them and he have A nice collection of french cuffs

also want to know when they are made

I did not read your post correct

for all of our other collector friends any info is welcome
at this moment the only thing I know is that this piece was from an old dutch police man
and was never used
from the one I have them I know that they are at least 10 years old

I have a similar La Pegy cuff, I received it when I bought a large handcuff collection in Belgium in the late 1999. Besides this one I never saw another pair like these.
