There is a new web site that just came on line for National Handcuff Day.
There is a quiz to win a very nice and rare prize from Peerless Handcuff Company. The site is sponsored by the "American Handcuff Council" and others. Details are on the site. Hopefully it can be expanded in the future.

If I made the quiz any easier we would just ask you for your name and email address. You can keep trying til you get it right. There is supposed to be a little more content on the web site, but it hasn't been put up yet.

nice work!

The quiz was less difficult than I expected after the posts here... Also scored 100%, but I admit I guessed one of the answers. It was fun though!

But here's a bonus question: even though it's the National Handcuff Day page there are three foreign (non-US) cuffs pictured on the site. Which ones? (Make&Model) - First person to post all 3 correct wins a free download of our 2010 handcuff calendar

@Paul/Derek: Well done! But the Safariland is made in the US and the last 5010s were Hiatt-Thompsons, so the three I was looking for were indeed the golden 2010, the RA 65 and the Kyoung Chang... Here's youre free download:

Yes! This year is a trial to see what happens and to see how much interest there is. Unfortunately things got off to a slow start. "National" doesn't say what nation, although it does originate in the US and it is the date of the patent for Peerless handcuffs. I will talk to the other sponsors and see what happens. We are open to sugegstions to expand the web site and the day.
