Hello everyone,
I just received Stan's CD on Merle A. Gill. It's simply incredible. The amount of research, and both photos and scans of paper
connected to Gill is amazing. It brought back many memories of the time I spent researching Joseph Lorey. It's great to see members of
our community put together all this information into one place. I have also just ordered the hard copy (booklet) of Stan's work on
Gill. You all know me, I like the paper too. He only printed several copies, so grab them while you can. The CD's I assume he has more of.
But, again, this is an item we should all have.

I received mine last week, and I'm still absorbing all of the great information.


I see that Gill's 1929 THUMBCUFF patent - would have been the first of the modern swing-through TCs (prior, of course was the sliding Tower model).

I ran across this post today. I am curious about this Gill CD. I know that we can no longer get a copy of this CD. Does anyone out there have a copy they are willing to sell or since they are no longer sold and it will not impact any sales, is anyone willing to make me a copy?
