OMG! A locksmith acquintance of mine who was touting Multi-T-Lock is going to be eating crow. You used to see alot several years ago on key bumping on the toool site but all that stuff has been removed.

I was interested to read this thread but would like to point out that the foil impressioning method has been around since at least 1985. Not too sure who developed it but I bought the pick set from Terry Staddon (a very talented locksmith pity he had a gambling habit and got tempted to use his skills illegally) to open the Kaba 20 locks. It worked really well - although must admit I never used it in it in the field.
I did make a set and supplied Ian in Australia, it basically consisted of two key blanks (left and right handed) with the 10 dimple cuts cut just slightly deeper than the 4 cut. The foil was wrapped round this key and inserted into the lock - a few gently wiggles and the locks opened. Furthermore the key could then be decoded and a key cut.
