hagge cuff special markings

i've found these 2 hagge cuffs with special markings

is there someone who ever seen these ???

the cuff with the CHUBB marking was ordered by CHUBB & they simply put their own stamped name on them... you will also find a few modern HIATT darby ALLUM cuffs also marked.... when CHUBB was designing their ARREST cuff, they toyed with the idea of EITHER making their own DARBY or POLEIZI style cuff & marketing it -- or -- just ordering one or both said cuffs & selling them marked with THEIR CHUBB name on them..... CHUBB did make the ARREST cuff, but it did NOT meet theirs or national strenght tests (don't know which)so they canned it... after a bit, they proceded to continue to make the ARREST cuff & DID -- but CHANGED the look etc etc, but once again decided to scrap the cuff as it was way to expensive to make & they knew that they could not market it at a HIGH price to compete against HIATTS & the USA made cuffs.... that model was the DOUBLE KEYWAY model & MOST ALL got DISTROYED in their testing of the cuffs.... i however managed to get one & only one - solely because i had talked to my CHUBB REP many many times during all of this & because i (we) had been LONG time buyers of the CHUBB ESCORT cuffs for resale etc etc.... CHUBB continued to work on the ARREST cuff & finally did make it which you all know.... joe
