S&W Mod. original key question

I have some S&W mod. 90 in original box, but the two keys are different. The edge of the round part of the key on one is flat, and it is rounded on the other.
I suspect the rounded edge key is original, but can anyone confirm?

Thanks. I am referring to the circular part of the key and not the flag. Maybe this image will help. Flat edge on left, rounded, or tapered edge on the right.

Looking on my keyring, and a handcuff key which I have carried since 1967, when I was "On The Job" - still a FOP member, the one on the right looks correct to me.

However I filed the sides of mine to make the key more flatter, and the tip to make it shorter, it was just enough to double lock the model 90's.

Even though I normally used the tip of a Bic ball point pen to double lock the handcuffs, it did not make sense me to have a have a handcuff key close to a prisoner just to double lock the handcuffs.
