Which book is best for collections of modern cuffs

I am finding it increasingly hard to find info on more modern style cuffs like 94's 925,926,938 and such. I seen a couple good books Manacles of the World by T. L. Gross and A Guidebook to Handcuffs and Other Restraints of the World by Alex R. Nichols. So if any of you have both books, which one is geared more toward modern -1950's and up restraints. I'm open to suggestions for new books too. I want something that list the different versions and variations, when each style was made and perhaps an approximate quantity made. Thanks

Neither of these books has detailed information about Smith & Wesson handcuffs. I don't know of any books that provide details about the various early Smith & Wesson cuffs. Most books on handcuffs or restraints cover the early historical handcuffs. There is not a lot of information about modern "swing through" handcuffs.

A good start - is by collecting sales flyers & company catalogs (past & present) of Smith & Wesson, Peerless, etc.

They will usually list their model numbers, weights, specifications, etc.
