I dont know much about handcuffs, and I need a little help , a guy at work have a pair of handcuffs which he have offer to me for 100 buck. They look old ,was there ever a maker(company) TH Porter, it is stamped on the key and on a brass button.Could thy be real or are they fakes?

Do not buy them if you think you have a historican artifact or a genuine article at all.
These were made as a working prop or wall hanger. They are worth abouit $35 and a neat piece to hang in a bar or use in a theatrical play or something.
The item should also say "Dealer in Slaves" on an attached brass tag to make it appear that this is an actual slave trade artifact....it is NOT authentic in any way...other than that of a fantasy cuff.
