Hey All,

I have pretty much gotten out of the handcuff collecting thing and focus mainly on my custom leather business. I have a chance to purchase a pair of Hiatt Boer figure 8 handcuffs from a guy that are in really good condition. I'm not sure if I want to but would like to know a ballpark figure if I was to do that. Thanks much in advance.

If the are a true Hiatt Boer war cuff and not a RCS cuff then they are worth several hundred dollars, say $400, may be more. But they have to be marked Hiatt and have the plug and the key.

Unmarked Boer war style cuffs are almost certainly RCS. Saying they are Hiatt does not make them Hiatt.

Thanks Joe. I appreciate the insight. Yes, they are marked and have plugs and key. They are a complete set from what I can tell from the photos. Thanks again.
