Mediaeval Spanish Padlocks

Dear Collectors,

I am trying to find out some information on late-mediaeval Spanish padlocks - the kind that may have been used during the Inquisition.

Might some of you have examples in your collections? I may have to have a replica made so even if you only have illustrations it would be a pleasure to hear from you.

On a similar note, is anyone aware of any built-in jail locks being used at this time? And thoughts on these questions would be gratefully received.
