Bean Cobb leg irons

Hello.

I am interested in a set of Bean Cobb leg irons.

I live in Spain and therefore I can not bid for most of the items sold in the USA.

The seller is willing to sell abroad, but the leg irons have one of the locks removed and in not very good condition. No key either.

Dou you think it may be possible to repair or to find a replacement lock?

I have a set of bean cobb handcuffs. May the handcuff key be used on the leg irons?

I am not sure if I should bid for them, perhaps you may help.

The nice thing about bean cobb is that lock is removable and remake of parts is not too difficult.

I agree that you will eventually find a replacement lock for the Bean Cobbs.
I did not clink the link to the pair that you are interested in, but you do not want to spend too much for these. I would speculate that you should be able to win these for less than $100.
I started a blog a few weeks ago about these very items and many of the readers here talked about the prices they paid. Most of us who have a pair of these leg irons paid about $150 on average.
A pair wih a missing or broken lock should sell for considerably less.
If you win these and repair them, I may know someone who might buy them from you for $7,500.
My soon-to-be-ex-wife is fixated on these and will sell her sole for a pair!
