I just received this email and I know some of you guys know this person.
He sounds like he is in one hell of a mess.
Im 99.9% sure its a scam.
Doesnt matter. I had to post this either way.

I hope you receive this message on time, Sorry I didn't inform you about my trip to Spain for a program,I am presently in Madrid, something extremely dreadful happened to me,I was rubbed at gun point on my way to the Hotel by hooligans and they made away with my Bag and other valuables. I called my bank for a wire transfer but it has proven almost Impossible to operate my account from here as they made me understand international transactions take 7 working days to be effective which i can't wait.

I feel so devastated,now my passport and other belongings are been retained by the hotel management pending the time I pay my Hotel bills.This is shameful,I need you to help me with a loan of 1600 Euros (equivalent to $1974) to pay my hotel bills and get my self home.Western union is the best way to send me money,will reimburse you soon as I get back Home.I will appreciate whatever you can assist me with. Let me know if you can be of help.

I hope you know that this is one of the oldest SCAMS out there--and Saharan may not even be aware that his name is being used to CON people out of their money.

Its so obviously a scam, that I'm not sure if it was posted to give us all a laugh for the day...or if you really believe it.

What happens is that some low-life hacked someone you know email account. They send out emails hoping you will be compassionate enough to help you friend out. Pretty low, eh?

On top of losing money you might send, your friend loses his email account because the hacker has cheanged the password.

There is a group over in the UK that do set set these scammers up though. They tell the scammer the money has been sent and is waiting for them at the Western Union place. They either haven't sent it and dance them around a few times OR They have the guy, the sscammer, on a street camera going into Western Union with the police waiting for them.

Sarahan may be a royal pain and not manufacture as well as KUB or Victor, but he is no trickster. I just deleted the e-mail early this morning, assuming what Kevin suggests, someone has hacked the Arif account.

I got it too.
I did not even read it.
I get offers of making 312 Million 5 times a day from Pakistan, Nigeria, and even in Russia.
I delete and block all of them.
I used to read them for entertainment but the joke is old.

I wouldnt even borrow a family member or friend that amount of cash so I wasnt worried. Everyone knows all my money goes for rare handcuffs and high end drums. It was strange because the email came from here and not someone claiming to be an oil executive in Nigeria or beneficiary to an insurance policy.

I figured I better post it to let everyone here know what is going on.

You only have to look at the news today about Pakistan cricketers fixing the results of international cricket matches.!!!

I'd rather donate to the Pakistan Flood victims than some guy enjoying a holiday in Spain.

Either way, I would never do any sort of business with this person. I have inside info on this person and rather deal directly with the source. Maybe he has gotten desperate or indeed someone has hacked/spoofed his account.

It must be really humiliating to be rubbed at gunpoint. But you should really avoid that hotel bu hooligans. That's a nasty neighborhood. You might get robbed, too.

The e-mail came from an address at pakent.com. Isn't this the Pakistani mope who shows up here periodically, offering to produce knock-off handcuffs to order?

As always, trust nothing in your e-mail box.

I too got "rubbed"!
My kidnappers told me that if you guys dont send a Tower cuff with stops, a McKenzie Mitt with chain, Palmers with connecting chain, Lilly Bar with original Key, and a Kimble, they will rub me to death.
Please call when all the cuffs have been collected and they will arrange the pick up to release me.

Holding my breath...hope you can save me!
