I already got several requests asking me about the two Kayser No.6 with "dust cover keyholes". Indeed I managed to get three pairs of this rare restraint. All are fully functional but only two keys came with them. The one, which I kept for my own collection, uses a key with a typical Kayser anchor stamping on it. This key also works perfectly with the piece that I would give away without key, but with a photocopy of the guaranteed working key, so that the buyer might make a spare one. The second Nr.6, which I have to sale, uses a key without anchor that does only work with this piece so I will sell these handcuffs together with the non anchor key.

I decided to wait a little bit and check the best offers, which I will get until 09/25/2010. The minimum, which I await, is EUR 250 for the Kayser with working key and EUR 200 or the one without key but with a key-photocopy and guarantee to work.

As I understand, the Kayser Nr 6 with "dust covers" came in different keys.
I have a set with the bows and keys marked with the letter "C". What are the
markings on these two cuffs?

Hello everyone,

thank you very much for your interest.

The Boer War Plug 8 is not marked. It comes with original plug and original key. The cuff is fully functional and has a nice grey patina (no rust, just some old crease stains, which I will clean up). Make me an offer of at least EUR 200 until 09/25/2010 and will part with it.

The false backstrap darby is covered with an ugly silver paint - so I unfortunately cannot make out any markings. But it is fully functional and has strong springs. It comes with two original keys. I would give it away for a fixed price of only EUR 45.00 plus shipping.

The Kayser Nr 6 with key is marked "B" on the movable bow, the one without key is marked "A". And both are also marked with the Kayser anchor.

I managed to get a handful of nippers with the thick handle (middle of the three nippers on picture two), which is actually a quite rare model - most probably (pre) WW2 German. I will sell them for a fixed price of EUR 25.00 plus shipping each.

I hope to add more information and additional pictures this weekend.

Hi guys,

If anyone has a spare key for a Tower Bean or Tower Leg Irons, could you bring them to the convention.
Patrick & myself have both tried to make a key for my Tower Beans, but to no avail. Mark & Sheila are going to bring one over, so hopefully it will work.
I have tried to make one for my Tower LI's, but they just wont budge. I will be bringing some blanks & files, so hopefully Patrick may be able to help.
I have also made a couple of keys for my H&R H ARMS Co Bean Cobb Lyman LI's, but if anyone has a spare one, could you bring that as well.
