Can anyone tell me about what year smith and wesson stopped stamping both cuffs, and about what year they switched from the elongated dimple to the circle dimple. any info would be very helpful. thanks Abit

They also have a new serial number stamp, slighty larger and easier to read as of Sept 2010.

Hi,

I'm pretty sure that the Peerless type round dimple came about approximately 5 to 6 years ago.
I own only one pair (104s) of cuffs that have this feature.
