unusual Hiatt leg irons

#2I guess the next thing is to learn where to insert the picture.
Any way, now that I have posted the picture, my comments. I have had these for over 30 years and they have been stored away with some other restraints for all these years.After posting my first message about the Hiatt plug 8's I started looking through the box and came up with these. The only markings on them are the number 12 on both the key and one of the bows.All the leg irons I have ever seen all have the chain attached to the restraints. These are different and I would like any comments or information that the forum can provide.

#4Click to expand...This leg iron design is perhaps more common than the more conventional design with the chain attached to each cuff. But most often the cuffs have been separated from the chain. You are lucky enough to have an intact pair. I have several separate cuffs without a chain.

#6Click to expand...real nice and again a set of LILLY LEG IRONS,still can't imagine how differant smiths would be able to duplicate those , there must have been a blue print,grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
