Bockin Cuffs

TL Gross in "Manacles of the World" pictures two types of Bockin Cuffs. One type has the body of the cuff attatched to the center swivel by a single chain link. The other type uses a clevis to go from the body to the center swivel. My apologies for not providing a photo, maybe I can jet one to the forum later for posting. My question is, which type is rarer? The regular chain version or the one with the clevis?

The one which uses a clevis is the first issued and supposed to be the rarest.
