Do not worry, the Forum is not going anywhere. And everyone should continue to use the forum for all their primary posting. However the Facebook page can be used for other things.

For example.

1. Post pictures that you think will have archival value. For example if you buy a rare cuff, make a posting about it on the Forum as you do now, but also add it to the Facebook photo page along with a descriptive caption.

2. Post videos. There is no way to do this on the Forum. Take your video camera and make a video tour of your collection. Or take that camera an interview a fellow collector. Post the video on the Facebook page. If you post a video on the Facebook page, then mention it on the Forum so people can find it.

3. Post items of social nature that would be of interest to Handcuffs.Org audience.

4. Use your imagination.

The setting on the Facebook page allow anyone who "likes" the page to post. If spam becomes a problem this will have to change, but I will start it out that way.

I do not know how useful the Facebook page will be, but let us give us a try.

One more point. You do not need to have a Facebook account to visit and view the Handcuff.Org Facebook page. You do need to be a member and "Like" the page to post.

There is a place for "Fan photos" on the bottom left of the page, but I have not figured out how to make it work. Directions do not exist. If anyone knows Facebook and can give me a suggestion, please do so.

Okay, I logged in and clicked the Fan Photo link and all it did was bring me to my page. I think Joe has to add our photos or our profiles to the handcuffs.org FB page and this link will take other people to those profiles so they can see our photo albums. If anyone else figures anything else out about this please do not be shy and let us know here. Thanks.
