Old cuffs from Berry from the Netherlands. Has anyone any info abouth those?

Are these wrist size or ankle size.
I would want to see what is under the sewn on cloth. Although they show some age, they show modern methods of manufacturing. The stuff looks to be well made with attention to detail and not crude.

The onley I now is that the cover (cotton) is more than 120 years old and that the patin is real. They are hand and not legcuffs. The owner say that they come frome a dutch prison and they are used til 70 years ago. I dont no ....................

I don't believe they are 120 years old, I might believe 70 and that is pushing it. Something I don't do very often is go dig into ebay at what some people call old shackles. People making claims that aren't true of American Civil War restraints, etc., and the items clearly made of steel instead of iron. I would like to see better pictures of certain areas but everything I have seen dates it well into the 20th century.
