#2Dwight- The Oregon Boot is a very collectible leg restraint. There are several makers dating back to the 1800's. There is a bottom brace which attaches to the bottom of a shoe or boot and the actual weight which sits on top of and is supported by the brace. Like most restraints condition is improtant. The weight part of the device is in two pieces which is secured together with a locking screw or bolt that is operated by a key. Oringinal keys are rare as well. Many were nickel plated.
Prices vary but they can easily go into the thousands.
