Wanted and looking for

Hi all,

I am currently designing an exhibit for a museum and I am looking for any old, vintage, or antique asylum or mental hospital restraints.

i.e. strait jackets, limb restraints, lunatic muffs, etc.

I do not want modern made restraints like these but instead old, antique or vintage stuff only.

Any condition. If it is old, it should look old.

I will either buy these or may trade metal restraints, i.e. cuffs, irons, for the right pieces.

I have the asylum leg restraints, with some provenance, discussed in the following thread which I'm willing to trade. (The ones half way down the thread)
Each is a single and different shackle but comes with short connecting chain with round links at each end. It also now has an old brass key which works well. Can send better pics.

I have several leather wrist restraints with metal buckles that have "Humane Restraint Co. Madison WI" on them. I also have two long leather tethers or belts maybe with buckles on the ends of them with the same company info on them. Also have a leather wrist/hand restraint (the cuffs go in the end and then this wraps over the cuffs and over both hands up to the wrists. It has a buckle on it with the same company info on it also. If you are interested, please let me know.
