They are not plated. But when I take a look at the gallery here at Handcuffs.org the 926 looks more shinier than the 925. Mine looks more like the 925. Are there any other differences between the 925 and 926 except for the plating?I have listed a few nice cuffs on ebay. Also a nice book on Houdini.

The 925 is a plated aluminum cuff. The 926 is a polished aluminum cuff. Generally but not always, the 925 markings seem to be in the same places as a model 90 is marked.(down by the lockcase) the 926's are usually marked on one or both of the double bows. This is not always the case because so many different variations are out there. But the primary difference is 925=plated and the 926=polished.I have listed a few nice cuffs on ebay.
