What's up with the Zach poster?

The guy in cage is George Zachs and one of the guys over top of the cage is likely his brother. They were Houdini imitators from Germany. I believe the original poster was made in 1912 and later reproduced in the 70's and again in the early 2000's. This however does not appear to be a reproduction.

The short guy in the blue suit--lokks like he's picking-the-pocket (with his right hand) of the guy next to him...and he's turning his head to make sure no one is watching him

What's up with the Zach poster?

In case that somebody is interested in the text:

"3000 Mark reward for he, who manages to get out of this cage without damaging it somehow or other. This cage will be locked and sealed by the audience with their own padlocks."

Below the stool: "The only cage in the world" (whatever this could mean)

Top left: "Georges Zachs the king of the escapee-kings"

Top right: "After he was restrained by the audience Zachs enters the case, which will be locked, sealed and lashed up."
