Lady size Darbies

I am interested in a set of Darby non adjustable handcuffs lady size.
I know these handcuffs are difficult to obtain but perhaps someone is willing to trade.
To the best of my knowledge, the inside measures of these cuffs were approximately 2 inches by 1 and a half.
(50 x 38 mm.) approx.

Most of mine are in that size range, so I don't think they are all that rare. People were smaller, back in the 1800s.

I recently bought a pair that the seller advertised as ladies' darbies.

I believed her, since she also provided a link to Yossie's page, I assumed she knew what she was talking about. Turns out she didn't. It was just a set o' plain old darbies.

We had some disagreement, because she had given the measurements, but also labeled them lady size. In my eyes, your auction description has to be more than just 50% accurate. Filed a case, but dropped it. I'd rather keep a pair of darbies for $90 than pay $35 in postage for having nothing.

Lesson learned: check your measurements.

Perhaps Mr Dennis is unaware of having a collection of lady sized Darbies.

If you actually have a spare set measuring 2" by 1 1/2 inches (50x38mm) Perhaps you may be willing to trade.

That´s the smallest Darby cuff manufactured by Hiatt, But I have also heard that Ruben Cradoc & Son produced a Small size non adjustable darby.

Can someone confirm this? if so, what are the inside measures of this particualar model?

I am having trouble with those measurements being called lady sized, I would rather suspect more along the lines of children size. I have a set of what I consider lady sized ones that measure 45 mm x 55 mm or close but not precise, 1-3/4" x 2-3/16". I think if you were to find a table of stats that provide average dimensions of human anatomy, and maybe over a period of time, it will bear me out.
