French Bicycle Chain Handcuff

I picked up an unusual French bicycle chain handcuff. It is extremely small and only two of the three posts are threaded. It is marked with roman numerals and the lock is the same size as the larger version. The photo is of a more traditional sized cuff on top and the small one on the bottom. Anyone have something similar?

Norm Marion has the small verision in his collection. It is marked LXII. Again only two of the posts are threaded. Norms cuff came from France as did mine.

these are great cuffs, I have never seen a pair of that style so small!

The two pairs of this style that I have in my collection are technically somewhat different. On the cuff that I consider to be the older one all three posts are threaded (also the one that cannot be reached by the lock and thus a thread is useless); besides this the locking nut can be removed from the locktube.

On the newer style the upper end of the locktube is crimped so that the nut remains in the locktube and cannot get lost when the cuff is opened.

There is another variation of these cuffs, will post a pic when I find it.
