Bought this grouping today with little to go by. I have a 2 link set with key and whistle. Can any one give me better info on the cuffs. The tag is what was on it "pre 1933). The internet seems to be all over the map and no solid info on W.S. Cuffs pre WWII. Pics included

#2The following info is partly from a letter I have from a retired Darley employee, dated 1997...
3 Darley models:
*USA (Chicago) ---made for the WS Darley Co; Darley never manufactured handcuffs.
*Spain
*Japan

The cuffs made in & marked "Spain" and "Japan" did not have the "Darley" name stamped on them
(I haven't checked if that's true or not-Joe)
It is also said that the Japan & Spain cuffs were from the 1960's.
Further, the Darley cuffs from the 1920's were made by a machine shop...not from a company that made handcuffs for others.

"Darley Chicago" cuffs are pre-1960.
1960 = Darley Co. moved out of Chicago, to the suburbs.

Hey, that's great! I thought these were rare for it's a task to connect on solid info. Glad to see there's others out there. My key is 100% as well. Cuffs are solid and function. However, I'm curious on value?? The seller had them for $95.00. I was able to get it down to $50.00 for the set that you see in my first post.

Would you consider selling 2 keys from the cuffs that you have? I do not need the cuffs nor the whistel.
