Speaking of the 4th, does anyone actually own a set of the Peerless aluminum model 4 with the warded lock (circa 1954)?

I thought that I had located a set of these a couple of weeks ago, but they turned out to be the aluminum model 4 with the standard lock.

"Hi Jason, I have repaired on of these Peerless cuffs with warded lock. Due to aluminium being soft, while the cuff was on deadlock, the bow had been force inward and bent the pawl so it could slide back and forth."

Thought I would share it with the forumites, as this model is seldom seen these days.
I've only twice seen the Peerless aluminum model on the bay, and both times it was the standard lock variant. Perhaps your repair explains why they are so scarce. I'm assuming that both variants would be subject to having the bow forced in. Previously, I figured that complications arose due to the keyway and key-post being identical to the model 3's.

I'm wondering how long the warded model was in production and how many were made?
