Fort Smith Prison Handcuffs

So, I came across a pair of old, rusty handcuffs. It has a brass tag that says Fort Smith Prison. Could they be real? I am assuming they are a fake but not sure. They are a horseshoe style, I think.

There are numerous 'brass tag' cuffs marked Alcatraz, Sing Sing, etc.
Every example that I've seen has been made in Pakistan or India, and these include many reproduction antique padlocks. Often times they are artificially rusted.

If they have a brass tag, they are almost certainly fake.
