Hi. I have listed a very nice pair of H and R Super Leg Irons on eBay. The auction will end on Sunday night. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions on the item or shipping. I have had several collectors ask me if I could find a pair for them and this is the first time that I knew of a pair for sale in a very long time. These leg irons work well and will double lock. The springs are still very strong. The original key is also included.

Just thought I'd check with you since you have these out. How do they measure up (size-wise) next to the ones I had a question posted about on Nov 17?

Are they the large size or the small size leg irons?

Are they marked or no?

Hi It appears that the example that I am am offering is the standard larger sized cuff. I can send other photos of the leg irons. Is there anything in particular that you want me to zoom in on or enlarge?
The plating is just about all there. About 5% to 10% has been rubbed off mainly around the edges and especially along the chain. Any surface that comes in contact with the ground or can rub up against itself, may have the least amount of plating left.
I am confident that you have not seen a better example of one of these rare pieces unless you have looked at one in mint condition, still in the box.
Again, these look great and work 100% perfectly. It could take years before a finer pair will show up. It probably will take years just for another pair in lesser condition to come around.

MSP, I sent the requested close up picture to you at your email address.
Due to the fact that Joe L. is away gathering up all the good cuffs in Europe, I did not think that he would be able to post my close up pictures in time, so I will send them to anyone that has interest in seeing them. The lock area and bows have no damage and the original key that is included works perfectly well and will double lock the leg irons on both sides.

The springs are still very strong, the stampings are clean and clear, and there is plenty of plating left all over. I know that you will be very pleased to have these added to your collection.

Unfortunatly, the leg irons did not generate enough interest, so they did not sell. I want to thank everyone for your interest and for the bids you placed.
I am willing to trade them for other cuffs or leg irons if you have anything of equal rarity.
