#4That's not a Peerless or even a Peerless look alike; it's an imitation S&W (totally different lock system). I am not a fan of the plastic topped models.....I am partial to the true "cut-away" models that I make. =)A couple of pics of modern Peerless internals, if anyone is interested. #7The lock bodies on the Smith & Wesson model 90's were quite a bit more compact. I have the original center detent model that I don't really want to pull apart, but I have a later model 90 that I just might pull apart.
