antique handcuffs

Hi anyone:
I have a pair of handcuffs that I purchased from an antique dealer about 5 yrs ago. However, I believe they may be a reproduction. He presented them as antique. They are a "darby" style with key and have San Quentin stamped on them. Are they fake? How casn i tell? Thanks for anyone's help.

The first clue is San Quenton and being a darby style. Another one they stamp is Alcatraz and Yuma prison. Without a picture but willing to bet they are reproductions.
